We’re looking for a Global Supply Chain Planner to plan and manage global product availability for assigned assortments at optimal customer service, E2E inventory and supply chain cost that enables profitable growth and efficient asset utilization.

 

The role:

 

The Global Supply Chain Planner role is responsible for worldwide planning, as well as, ensuring alignment between the Commercial, Finance, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to build an optimized supply plan that effectively meets the needs of the business.

This position will optimize stock and service levels for our products by determining quantity and timing of production quantities. As a Global Supply Chain Planner you will interface with internal stakeholders to balance global stockholding, costs and to dimension-capacity.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • To plan for the forecasted quantities to be supplied as efficient as possible today and tomorrow, ensuring product availability at optimal customer service, E2E inventory and supply chain cost that enables profitable growth and efficient asset utilization in assigned assortments.
  • To act as an integrator along the value chain by ensuring effective coordination and communication of availability issue resolution in tactical and operational planning horizons and influencing on decision making on trade-offs within Operations function, Finance function and R&D function.
  • To take an active role in the Mölnlycke Business Management (MBM) demand and supply reviews including follow-up that plans are executed as agreed in alignment with agreed targets.
  • To define, set and control relevant planning parameters in related systems and applications to achieve system health and business targets.
  • To monitor, analyse and report performance of the E2E Supply Chain in order to identify deviations and solve, develop action plans and/or escalate these issues for the assigned assortments.
  • To represent Supply Chain Planning in Supply Chain Design, implementation of new product launches and new market entries to ensure optimal time to market and product availability for product portfolio.
  • To contribute actively to target setting (OLC, OLA, BO, E2E inventory, forecast accuracy, supply plan adherence) and support continuous improvement activities within the assigned assortment to achieve service levels, productivity targets and business performance throughout the Supply Chain.
  • To actively participate in the Global Supply Chain Planning Team Objectives and capability development activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • University Degree in Supply Chain Management and/or Business Administration and/or Industrial Engineering or equivalent education.
  • 3+ years’ work experience related to planning (demand planning, supply planning, replenishment planning, inventory planning, master planning, production planning and/or material planning).
  • Experience in big data analyses.
  • Experienced and skilled user of planning tools (Rapid Response), transactional tool (SAP ECC) and reporting tools (MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, Power BI).
  • Excellent level of both written and spoken English, the corporate language. Preferably also have a good knowledge of Swedish (relevant for position in Gothenburg).
  • Experience in working in an international multicultural environment.
