Mölnlycke is now looking for an EDI Specialist – EMEA & US to join us at our global HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden.

 

As our EDI Specialist – EMEA & US, you will ensure accurate, efficient, and reliable electronic data exchange between Mölnlycke and its trading partners. The expectations for this role include taking ownership of changes, initiatives, and incidents across EMEA, as well as driving and owning the continuous improvement journey in processes, technology, and securing the correct technical skills for the team.

 

About the Role

In this role, you will ensure smooth EDI operations by coordinating activities, establishing partner connections, analysing data flows, and resolving any data errors or failures. You will work across the organisation to support testing, interpret incoming messages, document findings, and define business requirements. The role also includes collaborating with the global delivery team, external partners, and internal stakeholders to support business processes and solution configuration in line with team objectives.

What you’ll do:

Key Responsibilities

EDI Operations & Support

  • Operate and monitor customer EDI message flows (orders, confirmations, ASNs, invoices)
  • Ensure high availability, data accuracy, and SLA compliance
  • Incident management, Problem Management (root cause analysis), and corrective actions
  • Collaborate with integration team on acknowledgments, retries, and error queues

Customer Integration & Onboarding

  • Lead and support customer EDI onboarding
  • Analyze customer EDI specifications and implementation guides
  • Configure mappings, validations, and partner profiles
  • Coordinate testing (connectivity, message, end‑to‑end)

 

 

What you bring

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of EDI standards and message structures
  • Experience with customer EDI flows (O2C)
  • Understanding of:
    • Mapping
    • Validation rules
    • Integration with ERP systems - SAP CPI Understanding. The Integration Team at MHC is supporting and building the integration flows.
  • Basic understanding of networking, certificates, and encryption

 

Business & Process Skills

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Understanding of order management, logistics, and invoicing
  • Experience working with external customers and partners

 

General Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT solution development, preferably within EDI, integrations, or application support.
  • Experience with agile development and DevOps methodologies, including full end-to-end Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
