Continuing to invest in our future, we are looking for a collaborative, innovative, and detail-oriented AI/ML Architect who can come on-board and apply deep knowledge of AI/ML, enterprise architecture, and software engineering to bring Mölnlycke to the forefront of the data-informed decision-making culture.

Our ideal candidate would be someone who has worked in a solutions architect and a software engineer (AI/ML) role wherein he / she has hands-on experience in building an AI ecosystem with relevant platforms, cloud-native services, tools, frameworks and technologies to support the entire ML life cycle and is used to develop architectural blueprints, design technical designs, and evaluate solutions options for deploying AI/ML-driven business applications at scale.

This role is available preferably at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden but a strong candidate from other major European countries will be considered.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Define and implement an AI ecosystem with best-in-class tools and technologies to enable the end-to-end ML life cycle
  • Establish architectural design patterns and blueprints for AI-driven products to best meet business needs, working across hardware and software
  • Define evaluation strategies and criteria and perform architectural assessments for proposed AI/ML solutions
  • Lead technology proof of concepts to ensure feasibility considering various factors including scalability, performance, security, and compliance
  • Provide architectural and design guidance, best practices, guidelines and standards to a cross-functional project team
  • Contribute to developing our digital vision and strategy by identifying emerging technologies and defining roadmaps to integrate them into our AI capabilities
  • Engage, collaborate and build partnerships with relevant technology vendors and evaluate their technologies for their fitness for the AI ecosystem at Mölnlycke
  • Lead in-depth architectural discussions to build confidence among relevant stakeholders and ensure business success with new AI solutions
  • Contribute to developing business cases and defining the scope of AI projects
  • Develop clear, concise communication to explain relevant architectural and design concepts to the business stakeholders
  • Ensure that data is properly modelled and architected to enable advanced analytics and AI/ML at scale
  • Stay up to date with the latest development in Data Science and AI by attending conferences and contribute to advancing thought leadership

 

Capabilities, Qualifications & Experience :

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM field involving machine learning, computer science, software engineering and statistics
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, in particular, application and technical architecture
  • 5+ years of extensive experience in architecting and deploying AI/ML enabled applications
  • 5+ years of programming experience (e.g. Python, Java, C, C++, C#)
  • Strong experience in setting up an AI ecosystem to enable the entire ML Life Cycle Management
  • Familiar with client-server and microservice architecture with experience with Rest APIs and CLIs
  • Strong data modelling and data architecture skills to enable advanced analytics and AI/ML
  • A track record of successfully building and productising enterprise-level AI solutions at scale
  • Experience of working in cloud environments with a solid understanding of AI/ML platforms such as Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.
  • Research and innovation skills with the ability to understand and explain to others, publications on advanced machine learning and computer science
  • Ability to prototype, evaluate and adapt / improve the ideas discussed in the publications
  • Practical and demonstrated cross-functional business acumen experience in R&D, marketing, sales, finance, and operations
  • Excellent communication, leadership and teamwork skills
  • High proficiency in English
