We are now looking for Engineering & Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact in this role:

  • To co-ordinate and manage all Engineering activities for daily, preventive and predictive maintenance.
  • To utilise all available resources to optimum use.
  • To have effective control over the budget.
  • To assign job priorities and schedule them accordingly.
  • To manage and control spare part usage and withdrawal from warehouse. Responsible to optimize the inventory level.
  • Analyse breakdown frequencies and plan predictive maintenance to avoid reactive repair and optimize the spare part inventory.
  • To develop and recommend improvement to the Plant and production facilities to ensure smooth operation.
  • To govern the technician who are responsible in daily and preventive maintenance are well conversant with the statutory requirement and safety rules.
  • To plan and integrate the maintenance activities into SOP for existing and new equipment.
  • To assist in co-ordination and organizing the activities on Plant equipment that is subjected to DOSH inspection. 
  • Lead, train and manage a team of equipment/engineering personnel.
  • To involve actively in management activities such as departmental projects and continuous improvement projects.
  • Drafting AutoCAD drawing, updating and control of technical drawing specification.
  • Assist to conduct training to newly recruited Controllers, Technician, Boilerman and Chargeman.
  • Participate in company, customer, and third-party audits and certifications as needed.
  • Undertake any other duties as may be required from time to time by your Engineering Manager.
  • To assist to evaluate and develop improved manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
  • Assess line engineering downtime and ensure it is fully analyzed and actioned within agreed timelines in term of repair, root cause analysis and re-design as and when necessary, then review the current 4Ms and align these accordingly.
  • Respond to any breakdown in production line/trouble shooting events by diagnosing the problem and providing solutions.
  • Operate and monitor the WWTP plant to ensure wastewater treatment processes run efficiently and meet discharge standards.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment and coordinate preventive maintenance to ensure reliable plant operation.
  • Ensure compliance and reporting by following environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements and preparing necessary reports request by DOE

 

What you’ll need:

  • Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Engineering Automation or any related Engineering field.
  • Min 3 years of working experience as Maintenance/ Electrical/Mechanical/Equipment Engineer and with major involvement in maintenance, troubleshooting & automation.
  • Certified license for CePIETSO-PCP/CePIETSO-BP for Waste water Treatment Plant. Strong written communication skills, especially in engineering analysis and spec writing.
  • Broad technical knowledge in problem solving analytical skill by coaching & lead an Engineering team through innovative process implementation (FMEA, DOE, RCA, DATA ANALYSIS).
