We are looking for an experienced Digital Project Manager – Healthcare Software to accelerate the development, deployment, and scaling of nextgeneration digital health solutions.

In this role, you will collaborate with data scientists, clinicians, and product teams to turn insights into realworld impact, faster and smarter. If you are passionate about cloud-native engineering, responsible AI, and using cuttingedge technologies to advance global health, keep on reading.

Our aim is to establish a full new team of 10 dedicated colleagues, all committed to build a strong team and deliver the extraordinary in our aim to innovate and build the next generation digital health solutions. We believe we do this in close day-to-day collaboration in the headquarters of Mölnlycke, situated in GoCo, Mölndal/Gothenburg.


What you’ll do

As Digital Project Manager, you will lead the end to end delivery of healthcare software initiatives, from early stage innovation and needs discovery, through scaled high quality implementation. The role translates clinical, technical, and business insights into clearly defined problems, validated concepts, and tangible product increments while ensuring alignment with clinical value, regulatory requirements, and strategic goals. It involves coordinating cross functional stakeholders to deliver secure, compliant digital health solutions and driving early concept validation through rapid prototyping and real-world testing, including projects that span embedded software, IoT, and device–cloud architectures. You will role model with situational leadership, drive lessons learned and secure knowledge transfer within the organization. 


Other key responsibilities for the role:

  • Lead end to end delivery of healthcare software initiatives across the full lifecycle from early discovery to launch, ensuring clinical value, regulatory compliance, and strategic alignment.
  • Lead early-stage innovation and concept validation, including unmet need identification, opportunity prioritization, and business case development aligned with Bio-design principles.
  • Lead project planning, execution, and delivery performance, including scope, timelines, resources, budgets, and KPIs. 
  • Proactively lead risk assessment, compliance, and quality oversight, ensuring patient safety, regulatory adherence, and release readiness.
  • Drive forecast/budgeting and vendor accountability, including management of R&D budgets, external partners, and contracted deliverables.
  • Lead change, adoption, and delivery success, supporting go live, user adoption, stabilization, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead continuous improvement of delivery frameworks and governance, contributing to best practices, playbooks, and data driven decision making.
  • Stakeholder Management: Secure involvement and commitment, communicate progress, flag risks, and ensure quality in project reporting.


If all that sounds appealing, then here is what we would like you to demonstrate: 

  • University degree, preferably in Software Engineering, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or other relevant area, or equivalent mix of education and experience
  • 5+ years managing digital or software development projects, preferably in healthcare/health-tech.
  • Experience with early-stage innovation projects, needs-finding, concept development, and feasibility work.
  • Familiarity with, or training in, the Stanford Bio-design approach.
  • Proven delivery of cross functional projects from discovery through launch.
  • Experience coordinating clinical stakeholders and navigating healthcare delivery environments.
  • Track record with Agile methodologies, including backlog management and iterative development.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and partnerships.
  • Experience in working with AI-powered development projects
  • High proficiency in English.
