We are recruiting for an experienced Clinical Manager based in Bangkok, Thailand. The Clinical Manager facilitates the clinical strategy in focused accounts and supports the business by driving evidence development, identifying key opinion leaders, developing and engaging team and providing professional education and clinical activation. This role also focuses on creating, developing and maintaining clinical relationships within key accounts to influence change and improve clinical outcomes whilst maintaining the commercial objectives and focus.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provide clinical-based training to stakeholders (internal staff, external customers, and distributors) on product training, product demonstration, and international guidelines.
- Develop and manage key opinion leaders.
- Drive clinical development initiatives.
- Support businesses to win and defend Key Accounts with creative clinical solutions and KOL engagement programs.
- Responsible for effectively training the sales team to understand and sell with clinical evidence in alignment with marketing strategies.
- Own the Thailand Professional Education plan, including tracking ROI and being the first contact point for Global & Regional Prof Ed initiatives.
- Lead the development of the local clinical evidence strategy. Responsible for rolling out new pieces of evidence to the team when published.
- Lead the creation of case studies and QIPs from inception to publication, ensuring the development of relevant KOLs and advocates during the process.
- Plan and drive Quality Improvement Initiatives at key accounts of strategic importance
- Be the first point of contact for the CE Manager SEA and assume the role of the Local Coordinator
- Driving therapy focus through evidence and best practice sharing .
- Supports strategic product evaluations where necessary.
- Performs other tasks and assignments as needed and specified by management.
KEY DECISIONS
- Develop a clinical strategy & activation plan that integrates commercial strategy, business acumen and clinical expertise.
- Accountable for dedicated clinical activation plans in key accounts.
- Aligns with commercial stakeholders and CE management on creating and developing evidence and appropriate dissemination plans.
- Serves as a clinical resource in the research and development of new products and the market launch of new products or services as requested.
- Demonstrates fiscal responsibility in managing time, travel, and resources related to business.
- Ensures all activities are measured and aligned to local market commercial strategies.
- Supports clinical evidence strategy development by understanding gaps and requirements, identifying investigators, and implementing locally developed case studies and QIPs.
- Coordinates case studies, QIP development, and evidence dissemination with internal stakeholders and external customers
- Analyses complex medical and clinical data, identifies patterns and translates them into meaningful & actionable insights.
- Effectively and regularly communicates with stakeholders to provide clinical insight.
- Create and execute KOL strategy and ensure KOL development plans align with a commercial approach based on engagement opportunities.
- Adheres to relevant regulatory requirements, Good Clinical Practice and Company Standard Operating Procedures related to Clinical Engagement activities.
- Identifies opportunities and develops and aids in implementing Professional Education events and relevant follow-up.
- Develop peer-to-peer strategies and tactics in implementing the country's commercial strategy
- Review and approve clinical documents in line with internal & external guidelines
- Documents and measures performance toward commercial milestones and goals.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Capabilities
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Possess good communication skills (both verbal and written), presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build relationships and interact effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Client-oriented with commercial mindset and able to provide solutions.
- Detail-oriented and numerate.
- Good attitude and aptitude to work in a team.
- Possess a high level of accountability and job ownership.
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with good organisational, research, and training skills.
- Technically and clinically astute
- Knowledge of the Thailand healthcare market and dynamics with knowledge of relevant latest published evidence and clinical guidelines
- Experience in real-world evidence generation essential (Case studies, surveys, QIP programs)
- Confident in external speaking
Qualifications
- Degree with at least five years of clinical, medical or marketing experience in wound care or surgical specialties.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the wound care industry
- Strong industry and clinical network preferred.
ANY OTHER INFORMATION:
- Able to travel 40% of the time.
- Used to working in a global environment with fluency in English.
