We are recruiting for an seasoned leader for Business Director, Wound Care, India based in Gurgaon, India to join our India Wound care commercial team. This role will Identify and maximize marketing opportunities (both new and existing) to achieve agreed sales targets, to grow the business in accordance to business strategy.
Purpose of the position:
- Manage the current WC business & develop clear and focused strategy and lead the organization to reach all financial and strategic goals.
- Develop and implement short and long-term business plans, product launch plans and business planning processes to meet business targets.
- Coach, support and inspire to secure continuous organizational development and a stimulating excellent working environment throughout the organization.
- Secure we have right people in the right place, with the right resources, and clear objectives and direction.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Strategic Planning & Market Alignment
- Assess market opportunities to ensure product/solution alignment with customer needs.
- Develop and review short-, medium-, and long-term goals for specific products/product groups.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches and existing product expansions.
- Conduct competitor product analysis and localized customer insights to better understand target audience needs.
- Coordinate and manage the product life cycle in collaboration with the Business Manager and Sales team.
2. Revenue & Profit Growth & Business Operations
- Lead and manage the overall performance to deliver commitment, with accountability for the commercial results across the wound care organisation. Oversee the development of sound, optimum budgets. Identify, manage and communicate potential shortfall/risks.
- Ensure flawless and compliant execution through a focused, energized, lean, and responsive organization. Sustainable Profitability of the Business
- Implement customer and geographical segmentation strategies to achieve optimum productivity and profitability
- Ensure clear priorities for the organisation to continuously improve ability to focus and perform to secure highest possible customer focus.
- Develop and maintain a network of key opinion leaders and contactsin colloboration with other BAs to increase awareness of Molnlycke as a company as well as our products and services
- Develop and maintain high key level customer relations in order to increase sales opportunities and satisfy customer needs.
- Ensure that customer needs in the market place are fully understood and communicated to the regional team in order for them to further develop the products and the assortment.
- Drive market excellence in the country in colloboration with other BAs so that Molnlycke is viewed as the best company in the industry to do business with
- Oversee the contract / tender management process to secure that offers are profitable & competitive.
- Lead, develop and coach direct reports and secure optimal resource allocation to ensure highest possible efficiency and to increase customer satisfaction
- Recruit and retain key talents to ensure sustainable growth strategy is being implemented
- Execute a strong performance management system throughout the local organization so that performance is continuously monitored and evaluated, and corrective actions taken when needed.

Capabilities; Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Master degree in Business and/or Administration; preferably with a clinical or medical background
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years in the medical device / pharma industry of which the last 5 was of a senior management position, experience gained in a number of different positions from a combination of operational and staff positions in the medical device industry
