We’re now looking for an Learning Coordinator to play an important role in our Operations function. What makes you stand out is your passion for what your work means – coupled  with your ability to listen to customers and respond with appropriate urgency.

Purpose of the Position:

 

This position is responsible for analyzing training needs, developing curriculum, and ensuring that training is delivered in accordance with the 70/20/10 rule, Capability Frameworks, and the High Performance Behaviours.    This position will ensure that employees are trained methodically, thoroughly and effectively to give the company a competent workforce to help achieve the annual Molnlycke goals.  This position is responsible for reporting training needs and results to drive business decisions and to meet regulatory requirements.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Consult with managers and supervisors to assess training needs and ensures that adequate training programs are in place for all positions.  This includes developing programs as well as reviewing existing programs for ongoing accuracy.
  • Support other US locations (Operations and Commercial) as the Administrator of the Learning Management System.
  • Support the Manufacturing Capability Framework for Manufacturing jobs ensuring that the technical skills and capabilities are identified.
  • Assess training needs for new and existing employees against the capability framework to address competency gaps utilizing the 70/20/10 rule.
  • Supports Managers and Supervisors with employee development and career pathways
  • Partner with internal stakeholders regarding employee training needs.
  • Identify employees who show the ideal behaviour and skills to train peers; support through train-the-trainer programs.
  • Organize, develop or source training programs to meet specific training needs.  Provide input annually to manager for budget recommendations.
  • Work with subject matter experts regarding instructional design ensuring that the adult-learning model is considered.
  • Develop, maintain, and update training aids such as manuals and checklists.
  • Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, on-the-job coaching.
  • Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness.
  • Ensure that training program and individual trainings comply with all applicable regulatory and QA requirements including, but not limited to, ISO, FDA and OSHA.  Furthermore, that we have documentation/ objective evidence to meet audit needs during any inspections by such agencies.
  • Track and report on training outcomes.
  • Provide feedback to program participants, Supervisors and management to ensure visibility on training status and effectiveness.
  • Work with both employees and leads to make sure that employee training records are maintained outside of EtQ requirements.
  • Handle logistics for training activities including venues and equipment.

 

Competencies:

 

  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Software.
  • Experience coaching or training others.
  • Demonstrated experience with differently learning styles and the adult learning model.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining and participating in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to make well-reasoned decisions, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to meet job performance measures with minimal direct supervision and guidance.
  • Effective personal organizational skills.
  • High energy to engage participants

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • College degree (2 year or 4 year) preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years in leadership role with experience developing and delivering training programs
  • Minimum of one (1) year of SAP use preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Previous experience in a regulated environment preferred
