Global Supply Network Planner

Hybrid Role: Onsite in our Wiscasset & Brunswick sites 2-4 times/month

Ideal Locations: Boston, Portland ME, Wiscasset, Brunswick

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in ensuring product availability on a global scale?

Molnlycke is hiring a Global Supply Planner to help us optimize our supply chain performance and meet customer demands with precision and efficiency. Reporting to the Global Supply Network Manager, you will be responsible for balancing supply and delivery plans for a dedicated assortment while staying aligned with global principles. This is a remote/hybrid role. We are looking for someone who can be onsite in our Wiscasset and/or Brunswick office 2-4 times per month.

In this role, you will:

  • Orchestrate the end-to-end supply chain, navigating its complexities to communicate and plan effectively.
  • Develop robust and feasible plans that provide clear, reliable information to stakeholders and commercial teams.
  • Optimize global supply chain performance to ensure product availability meets targets.
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing, logistics, and Customer Experience teams to turn strategic plans into actionable results.

What you’ll do:

  • Ensure master data quality and maintain accurate planning parameters to achieve business targets.
  • Collaborate with the US Replenishment Planner to optimize replenishment flows and prioritize products between distribution centers during shortages.
  • Develop constraint-feasible supply plans, considering raw materials and finished goods, while aligning with factory capacity for both short-term (0-3 months) and long-term (4-24 months) planning.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential supply risks through alternative scenarios and “what-if” analyses.
  • Provide visibility into backorder projections and stock availability through weekly reporting to the US commercial team.
  • Communicate proactively and accurately with key stakeholders across the value chain to facilitate timely decision-making.
  • Influence and align Commercial and Operations teams on supply and demand strategies.
  • Drive inventory health initiatives, including SLOB and scrap processes, in partnership with the Supply Network Inventory Manager.
  • Lead demand control processes, including product allocation and LOH, while challenging demand planning to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs), such as OLC, OLA, backorders, and inventory levels, to support the monthly S&OP cycle.
  • Support supply chain design discussions by evaluating the impact of footprint changes on supply chain capabilities and targets.
  • Provide creative problem-solving for complex supply planning challenges and assist Customer Experience with daily allocations during capacity constraints.
  • Initiate and support improvement initiatives to achieve organizational targets.
