As Regional Sales Manager , you will drive the development and growth of the strategically important Wound care business. Our market leading position in wound care is based on being different and unique in those areas that matter most to our customers. With your know-how of the Spanish market and your relationships within the hospital and primary care environments you will actively drive the Wound Care product portfolio together with a high-performing sales team.

 

Location: Catalonia, business travels and home office

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Achieve regional sales targets in Primary and Acute Care, through confident and competent leadership.

  • Effectively & efficiently manage the diverse subordinate roles to maximize sales growth and customer support performance.

  • Identify and develop talented individuals to reach their maximum potential, performance and job satisfaction.

  • Provide intelligence and input into the strategic and tactical development of the Iberia Wound Care Business.

  • Identify the key decision makers in Regional Tenders like: Key Opinion Leaders, Technical Commission, Advisors of the Regional Purchase Department, Users, etc in order to do lobbing and generate the positive decision to Wound MHC products.

  • Develop an expand personal network of Regional and National Key Opinion Leaders thus optimizing commercial and educational opportunities.

  • Develop and manage relationships with local wholesalers in order to maximise sales.

  • Recruit, develop, motivate and retain excellent team members in order to achieve business targets.

  • Develop & maintain short &  medium term business plans to focus activity in support of National Marketing Strategy and Sales Tactics to maximize sales and contribution  in  primary care and acute sectors

What you’ll need

 

  • University Degree in Business Administration or Marketing or an equivalent experience

  • Previous experience and reliable network within the medical device market. (3yrs)

  • Client-oriented with commercial mindset and able to provide solutions

  • Profit and goal oriented, proficient in forecast and budget preparations, ideally management of a P&L

  • Good communication and influencing skills

  • Strong leadership capabilities with a global mindset and cross-functional skills

  • Minimum of five years of managerial experience, demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team

  • Well versed in work planning and organization and management of priorities

  • Strategic mindset with a team building approach

  • Proficiency in Spanish and Catalan and fluent English skills

  • Excellent computer skills
