Job Description
US KOL & Professional Education Lead

Location: Remote with 30-40% Field-Based Travel

At Mölnlycke, we’re continuing to invest in how we educate, engage, and partner with clinicians across the U.S. — and this role sits right at the center of that effort.

We’re looking for a US KOL & Professional Education Lead who can take ownership of how we connect with key opinion leaders and deliver meaningful, modern education that supports both clinicians and our commercial teams.

What Makes This Role Different

A chance to rebuild and elevate advisory board strategy across the U.S.

Direct collaboration with marketers, clinicians, and global partners

Opportunity to introduce new tools, automation, and AI-driven approaches

High impact in areas like post-acute care and evolving care settings

The ability to shape how we engage KOLs moving forward, not just execute

This is not a “maintain the status quo” role — it’s an opportunity to build, evolve, and modernize.

What You’ll Do

You’ll lead the strategy and execution of professional education and KOL engagement across our Wound Care business, including:

Designing and delivering impactful education programs (live, virtual, hybrid) that meet real clinician needs

Building and managing strong KOL relationships across key segments

Leading advisory boards end-to-end — from recruitment and logistics to insight synthesis and action planning

Partnering closely with marketing, clinical, and cross-functional teams to shape strategy and content

Bringing structure and clarity to complex processes, including KOL selection, contracting, and compliance

Leveraging technology and automation to improve how we engage, scale, and measure impact

Tracking success through clear KPIs tied to engagement and business outcomes

What You Bring

Experience

7+ years in medical device, healthcare, or related industry (sales, marketing, clinical, or education).

Minimum 2 years of experience running advisory boards, expert panels, or KOL engagement programs.

Background in professional education — ideally with understanding of clinician pathways or medical certification.

Experience in a medical or clinical context required; wound care experience preferred but not mandatory.

Skills & Competencies

Strong “forward-leaning” mindset; comfortable trying new approaches and adopting emerging technologies.

Ability to automate and streamline processes using modern digital tools.

Exceptional project management and organizational skills.

Strong communicator with the ability to influence across a matrixed environment.

Understanding of compliance standards (e.g., AdvaMed Code of Ethics).
