We’re now looking for a Medical Affairs Manager – Prevention to join our Clinical, Medical & Professional Affairs (CMPA) team. This role will play a critical part in shaping the future of pressure injury prevention, acting as a key medical and scientific partner across our global and U.S. organizations.


About the role

As Medical Affairs Manager – Prevention, you will be the medical and scientific voice for Mölnlycke’s prevention portfolio, with a strong focus on pressure injury prevention. You will work at the intersection of clinical practice, evidence generation, and commercial strategy, ensuring that our solutions are grounded in real‑world clinical needs and supported by robust, relevant evidence.

This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong communication skills, clinical credibility, and the ability to translate complex medical concepts into actionable insights across global, regional, and local teams.


What you’ll do

In this role, you will:

  • Provide medical and clinical expertise to support evidence generation and clinical study strategy within the Prevention patient journey area
  • Ensure all clinical activities, studies, and publications are clinically relevant, scientifically sound, and aligned with real‑world practice
  • Act as a bridge between the U.S. organization and global teams, fostering alignment, shared understanding, and effective collaboration
  • Serve as a key partner to R&D, Marketing, Clinical Engagement, and Market Access teams
  • Contribute to publication strategies and support the dissemination of evidence through appropriate channels
  • Help shape future‑focused initiatives, including opportunities to integrate digital tools into pressure injury prevention pathways
  • Maintain awareness of the evolving medical landscape and translate insights into meaningful business and clinical impact
  • Build and leverage relationships with clinicians, KOLs, and external stakeholders to support research and evidence development

What you’ll bring

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • A strong clinical background, such as:
    • Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in wound care or pressure injury prevention
    • Physician, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or similar healthcare professional
  • Demonstrated knowledge of pressure injury prevention and/or wound care
  • Experience in medical affairs, clinical research, clinical education, or a clinically focused commercial role
  • The ability to communicate confidently and effectively with:
    • Clinicians and KOLs
    • Cross‑functional partners
    • Senior and global stakeholders
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build trust and rapport across cultures and time zones
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with scientific literature and clinical data
  • A self‑driven, adaptable approach suited to a global, matrix organization
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required credentialing to perform job

 

Medical affairs experience is valued, but we also welcome applications from clinicians transitioning into medical affairs, particularly those with prior industry or KOL engagement experience.
