Associate Laboratory Specialist

Mölnlycke is now looking for two Associate Laboratory Specialist to be working out of our new labs within the headquarters within GoCo Health Innovation City, Gothenburg wider area.

About the job

In this position you will be a key person in the laboratory team. You will lead colleagues from different laboratory disciplines to deliver the laboratory workstream in innovation projects. This includes planning the laboratory deliverables in line with innovation project milestones and leading the cross functional testing team to achieve the projects goals.

You will also lead new test method development projects, as well as updating the existing test methodologies to be more efficient. Relevant test areas are physical testing, fluid handling in wound care products, and image analysis.

You are curious to learn new areas and techniques that will help us grow and develop towards our future strategy. You have also a flexible mindset and are able to adapt to a dynamic environment with short lead times.

 

What you’ll need

To be successful in this role you will need to have these capabilities

  • Proven project management skills
  • Driven with proven strong analytical and communication skills
  • Embrace unfamiliar tasks, solutions oriented and open to learn new areas
  • Proactive and with the ability to bring structure to complex test plans
  • Programming proficiency in python, or equivalent, in relation to create scripts for image analysis or macros
  • Experience in working in collaborations with external partners
  • Master’s degree in relevant field, i.e. Biomedical engineering, Electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • 5-10 years experience in related areas

Plus:

  • Experience in working with sensors
  • Experience in automation of repetitive manual steps in tests
  • Experience in Computerized system validation
