Associate Laboratory Specialist - Physical Testing and Software

Mölnlycke is now looking for an Associate Laboratory Specialist - Physical Testing and Software to be working out of our R&D Laboratories within the headquarters within GoCo Health Innovation City, Gothenburg wider area.

About the job

In this position you will be a key person in the laboratory team by developing and implement new models and methods for laboratory testing in the interface between physical products and embedded software.

 You will lead colleagues from different laboratory disciplines to deliver the laboratory workstream in different innovation projects. This includes planning the laboratory deliverables in line with innovation project milestones and leading the cross functional testing team to achieve the projects goals.

You will also lead new test method development projects and update existing test methodologies to improve efficiency. Relevant test areas include physical testing, sensor testing and working at the interface between physical products and embedded software.

As a specialist, you will provide laboratory test data along with documented analysis, conclusions, statistical input and recommendations to projects, platforms and other stakeholders.

 

What you’ll need

To be successful in this role you will need to have these capabilities:

  • Project management skills
  • Driven with strong analytical and communication skills
  • Problem-solving and adaptability to changing environments
  • Ability to embrace unfamiliar tasks and learn new areas
  • Solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to structure complex test plans
  • Experience from physical testing
  • Programming skills (Python or equivalent) for creating scripts to automate manual tasks in test setups and data handling
  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant field, i.e., Biomedical engineering, Chemical engineering.
