Make your next step a big one
If you’re ready to have an impact in a career that makes a difference, Mölnlycke could be your next step. You’ll be helping to equip medical professionals around the world with solutions to improve outcomes for patients. And you’ll be developing yourself in a global environment with an inspirational culture, with lots of opportunities. All the while building a successful career, with real purpose.
Mölnlycke is now looking for an Account Manager – Operating Room Solutions (ORS) to join our successful Sales Team in Denmark, with responsibility for Region East Denmark.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take responsibility for an important and well-established market, working with market-leading solutions in a global company with a strong brand and strong local organization.
The opportunity comes as our current Account Manager moves into a Business Development Manager role within Mölnlycke. You’ll therefore join an experienced team and benefit from close collaboration with your predecessor, who will remain within the business and support your introduction to customers and the market.
About the job
As Account Manager, you’ll have a flexible and independent role, travelling frequently to meet customers and working from your home office or local office in Allerød when needed.
You’ll be responsible for developing the business across Region East Denmark, building long-term partnerships and developing relationships across a large and strategically important customer base.
This is a mature and well-established market where Mölnlycke already has a strong position. Success will therefore be as much about nurturing and developing existing customers, managing complex stakeholder relationships and creating long-term value as identifying new sales opportunities.
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Developing and executing account plans in line with local strategies.
- Building strong relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders across hospitals and healthcare organizations.
- Developing and nurturing existing customer partnerships while identifying relevant opportunities for further growth.
- Working closely with customers, including supporting and educating stakeholders on Mölnlycke solutions.
- Identifying sales opportunities and maintaining a healthy pipeline.
- Managing customer data, sales activities and opportunities in CRM.
- Handling complaints according to Mölnlycke policy.
- Executing pre-tender and tender implementation plans.
- Building relationships with local Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Providing input on competitive intelligence and market trends.
- Supporting implementation of the local strategic plan.
- Contributing to global and regional strategy in the North region with local market insights.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Minimum of 4 years of successful sales experience, preferably within healthcare or the medical device industry.
- Strong experience working with customers and stakeholders within hospital or healthcare environments.
- Excellent stakeholder-management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across different functions and levels.
- Strong business acumen and customer focus, with the ability to develop established accounts and long-term partnerships.
- A healthcare educational background is preferable.
- Experience in the operating room environment is a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation and customer-education skills.
- Planning and value-selling skills, with a strategic mindset.
- Strong English skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
- Preferably located in or close to Copenhagen
You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy working independently while being an active part of a collaborative team. We value a transparent and direct way of working, and we’re looking for someone comfortable building relationships across a broad stakeholder network and taking ownership of an important market.
Your onboarding
We want to set you up for success from the start. You’ll receive a structured two-month onboarding plan, combining Mölnlycke’s onboarding and training programme with hands-on, in-field learning alongside experienced colleagues.
What you’ll get
- Competitive compensation package including company car or car allowance.
- Wellness benefits.
- Flexible working hours.
- An open, friendly and fair working atmosphere.
- The opportunity to take ownership of a strategically important market and continue developing your career within Mölnlycke.
