We're seeking an Accounting Manager to ensure accurate and compliant accounting and reporting for China, Hong Kong & Taiwan. The role delivers timely month-ly/quarterly/annual closes, statutory and tax filings, and strong internal con-trols in line with Group policies, local GAAP and IFRS. Acts as accounting SME and key counterpart to GBS for high-quality outcomes and continuous im-provement. This is a senior individual contributor role with no formal people management responsibilities.
What you'll do
Accounting, Close & Reporting
• Deliver timely and accurate monthly/quarterly/annual closes across CN/HK/TW in line with local GAAP/IFRS and Group policies.
• Submit Group reporting (Cognos) and ensure data integrity.
• Partner with GBS and service providers to maintain high-quality out-comes and drive continuous improvements.
Statutory, Tax & Compliance
• Prepare and file statutory financial statements, corporate income tax, VAT and other regulatory submissions.
• Prepare tax packs and ensure correct permanent/temporary differ-ences and local adjustments.
• Ensure full compliance with Group policies and local regulations.
Audit & Controls
• Coordinate internal and external audits and manage deliverables.
• Maintain and monitor internal controls, ensuring documentation and adherence to policies/SOPs.
• Identify gaps and support control and process improvements.
Collaboration with GBS / Group Finance
• Serve as the key liaison with GBS for accounting operations including PTP & OTC tasks and drive process improvements with GBS teams.
• Collaborate with Group Finance on accounting related matters, poli-cies, projects, and best practices.
What you'll decide
• Ensure all entities’ accounting and reporting fully complies with local GAAP, IFRS, and Group policies.
• Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines for statutory and Group reporting.
• Implement internal controls and contribute to best practices across entities.
• Prioritizes own deliverables and escalates risks or issues to the Coun-try Head of Finance as appropriate.
What you'll need
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 5+ years relevant accounting experience, preferably in multinational environments.
• Strong statutory/tax knowledge, closing processes and GAAP/IFRS un-derstanding.
• Proficient in SAP, Cognos Controller, Excel; Power BI a plus.
• Fluent English; Chinese required.
